Comedy, a new revenue source.

Live Comedy:

  • Attract new customers!
  • Have fun!
  • Watch your patrons come back for more!
  • Make your business stand out with this unique hook!
  • Watch the money roll in!

Whether your business is a hotel, night club, VFW, banquet hall or bar, Live Comedy can bring in the dollars with the laughter.

In these difficult financial times, it is more important than ever to attract new customers, and also to keep your loyal patrons happy.  Live comedy is a unique and delightful way to do both.  We hire the best talent working in the country today and our comics will have your customers laughing and in high spirits for an hour and a half straight.  And customers who enjoy an evening of comedy in your establishment are sure to come back for more, in addition to mentioning the hilarious live show they experienced at your place of business to their friends, family members and co-workers.

Live comedy provides your business with a unique edge your competition simply doesn’t have.

Sure, they have Sports Nite, Ladies Nite, Bingo Nite, etc.  Who doesn’t?  Not only does our form of entertainment give you an unusual hook…it is insanely fun, highly profitable, and relatively inexpensive. We will also help with the planning, and running of shows.

Why comedy?

Do you have a bar, club, or restaurant and want to bring in more revenue? Try comedy! There is no better time than laughing for hours on end. Stand-up comedy can bring revenue to your location on nights that might normally be slow for you. A successful room can work in cities of all sizes and bring in new business, and then repeat the business.

How does it work?

First you choose the night and frequency you want to do comedy. You can do it once a month, once a week, several nights a week, or just on special occasions. Laughlines will send you 2 nationally touring professional comedians. The feature act will do 30 minutes up front, the headliner will do 50-60 minutes. You do need to provide lodging for the comedians. Two rooms at a clean, reasonably priced hotel will work. It doesn't have to be the Marriot, but it must be clean. Preferably with internet access, as comedians are travelling business people.

How much does it cost?

Cost will depend on several factors. What night of the week, what shows we can route it with, and the size of your room. We charge the lowest booking fee in the country, which means more money goes to the comedians, which means we can give you better talent.

Who are the comedians?

Laughlines has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Frank Caliendo, Victoria Jackson, Jeff Dunham, Jeff Altman, Richard Lewis and more. Don't count on them showing up, unless you plan to charge $500 a head. These people were funny before they made it big, and there are touring comics out there that are just as funny, but haven't yet been at the right place at the right time. Some of the funniest people are ones that are not yet household names. We book comedians that have appeared on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, HBO, Comedy Central, A&E, and Bob-and Tom.
