More than just a groundbreaking comedy tour, Pow Wow Comedy Jam provides a dynamic range of panel topics that will enhance their visit to your college campus. The four members of Pow Wow Comedy Jam all have extensive public speaking experience in addition to their standup comedy skills. They each represent and can speak to their diverse range of social and tribal backgrounds, educational experiences and life skills. World traveled, college educated and politically and culturally engaged, Pow Wow Comedy Jam seeks to connect with college audiences to improve understanding of Native American cultural issues and challenges while inspiring and educating Native and Non-Native students alike.
The group includes a military veteran, three colleges graduates (including one member with an MSW)and over 30 years combined experience entertaining audiences at thousands of shows. Two members are also in recovery and speak to alcohol and drug related issues as well. The group can tailor their panel discussion to a primary topic or provide a free flowing interchange with students and faculty to cover multiple topics and issues.
